[PD] processing webcam input with GEM

Hi all,

I am also using the Logitech Pro 4000 with Gem on OSX and also get the 
greyed out preferences window when I send a dialog message to 
pix_video. The camera works withe Gem fine, but I would like to have 
control over the framerate/colors/contrast etc. Is there perhaps a way 
to instruct the camera from within PD/Gem for these settings or is this 
bug?
