[PD] Was there a change in how MIDI is transmitted ????

Thanks for the suggestion Frank. I'm using snd-virmidi to get the second 
port on my Midisport 2x2 but never thought of using it to see the midi 
stream. I'll give it a try. I was thinking more along the lines of " cat 
/dev/midi or something like that.
