[PD] whitch filesystem

I would want to use one fresh installation of slackware-10
with kernel 2.4.26 in order tu use a linux box in one (small)
interactive-audio-midi-visual installation based on jack-pd-pidip.

Do you can suggest which file-system is better for improve audio realtime
features ?
I use ReiserFS (but even i am not expert) me seems that it is not
the maximum.

Still a question please:
Do you can suggest how to patch kernel-2.4.26 in order to work nicely with
"PD -rt .." ?
