[PD] command line arguments

hi all,

using the intel compiler i sometimes have strange problems ... it seems
that the command line arguments won't be parsed ... or even it segfaults
...
i couldn't really reproduce this, but i'm curious, if someone else
experienced similar problems ...

(btw, setting up some kind of bugtracker might be hand to make sure, no
bug report gets lost in the mailinglist archive)
