does anyone know of any audio interfaces (firewire or usb) that have 8 outs 
and work with linux?

I need the 8 outs for a specific surround sound setup (16 bit is fine, 24 bit 
prreferable).

i looked through the alsa guide, but I couldn't locate specific types.  there 
are a lot of gaming cards or extremely expensive hardware.  I'm looking for 
something in the middle, like the Firewire 410.  actually, if that one works 
that would be perfect.
