Does anybody know the difference between 7.1 and 8 channel audio?
I am really confused about this. Is it only the implied use, or is 7.1 already 
"encoded" in some way for a specific speaker setup (front L-M-R, mid L-R, 
back L-R plus a subwoofer) ??
