[PD] OS X performance

I think this is a G4 problem (and a little OSX maybe) - on my g4/800
running debian convobros uses about 10% cpu although pd is comipiled with
export CFLAGS="-mcpu=7450 -O3 -fomit-frame-pointer" before configure.
The developer version with fftw support doesn't do much better either.
