[PD] Documentation Question

Is there a document online where one can find objects by function. For
example is there a way to find all the objects that play sound files, or
do averaging, or create random numbers. This directory would list the
object name, purpose and external it came from. Just curious if this
exists. Some objects would be under different listings. With the number
of externals available for PD it's a bit difficult to know what is
available and remember which external an object came from.
