Because this version is a kludge, it will only work in one location.  
It must be in /Applications, it can't even be in a subdirectory of 
/Applications, like /Applications/pd-0.37-4.  I had to use absolute 
paths.  Yes its a kludge, but its temporary to allow one step in the 
right direction.
