ok, i found the answer :

now, canvases are named

.x0x80fe1a8.c

instead of :

.x80fe1a8.c

because their names are built using %p instead of %x...

i don't feel there's a particular reason to change this
( was it a general replacement : s/%x/%p/g ???? )

it breaks a lot of code here...
