[PD] rradical & OSCroute problem on OSX

...I'm finally getting around to trying out rradical (the "newtype"), 
and have compiled/installed flext/pool/OSCx from cvs...however, when I 
opened up the tester.pd patch, I got the following output:

OSCroute object version 1.05 by Matt Wright. pd: jdl Win32 raf.
OSCroute Copyright ﾩ 1999 Regents of the University of California. All 
Rights Reserved.
* OSC-route: float arguments are not OK.
  OSCroute $1
... couldn't create

pool 0.2.1pre - hierarchical storage object, (C)2002-2004 Thomas Grill

originator.pd 14 0 31 0 (inlet->text) connection failed
originator.pd 31 0 35 0 (text->send) connection failed
originator.pd 31 0 80 0 (text->OSCroute) connection failed

...in originator.pd, other instances of OSCroute worked, but not 
[OSCroute $1]:  what am I doing wrong?
