I read:
> i'd like to construct a 808- or jomox-like drum-synth in pd. so i'd like to
> know what every single sound is made of. if anybody is familiar with that and
> may have some diagrams or schemes of the dsp of such a machine like tr-808,
> i'm vey interested. maybe this is a secret, but asking doesn't cost :-)

check out:

I made some patches a while ago that sound similar, you probably might want
to check out csound code by istvan varga
-> http://csounds.com/istvan/html/drums.html
for some inspiration. If you want my drum patches give me a shout and I'll
try to dig them up from /backup/old/backup/old_laptop/copied/backup/stuff ;)
(I think I had an excellent cowbell among other things, but then again it
actually may sound just crap)
