[PD] /dev/dspW?

i don't think it's possible to use an alternate /dev/dsp device ... when
i was using my old quattro i had to use /dev/dsp0 and /dev/adsp0 ... the
only way to do that was creating a symlink from /dev/adsp0 to /dev/dsp1
... you could try something like that ...

i forgot all these problems using jack (although there are some issues
with jack and usb audio devices)
