[PD] grid and exciter

Hello all,
has anybody complied the grid and exciter externals for Pd 0.37 for Windows. 
I am currently using these objects (in Windows ME) but canno't access the 
properties to change the attributes, and am stuck with the default 
attributes as in the help files.
