[PD] using a miroMOTION DC30 with PD/GEM?

hi list,

i am trying to output the gemwin/the pdp X11win to an analog video 
signal.
now i am trying to use a miroMOTION DC30 on os x wih the squared5 
driver.

the card works with FCP, VLC, MPlayer, DVD Studio Pro and iTunes, but 
not for PD.
i could use a laptop with svideo output, but i would like to have the 
power of a big machine with analog output.
any hints/ideas very appreciated.
