What do you mean 2.6.9-final? rc4 is the latest isint it?

I am running Pd version 0.38 TEST 4, whats the advantage to running
devel_0_37?

Can I use k8, sse, mmx, and floating point=sse on my arch: AMD64 laptop?

Thanks for the speedy and in depth help! This all looks like it could
help a great deal, i just would like to know more about what my machine
can do (mmx, sse, etc.)
