a) please give a bit more detailed information about your system (e.g. OS)

b) do you have a current version of directX ?

c) is the hardware supported by other software at all ? (i once bought a 
pinnacle something 2000 and it *only* worked with the shipped grabber 
application on windos: the support center told me: "yes that is how it 
is; we are not planning to change it")
