Hi,

Yes the behaviour of arrays is definitely buggy on 64 bit archs. Just
tested on the alpha and I can see the same behaviour.

I think this is a general bug in the 0.38 series. Would be good to report
these two bugs to the bug tracking system. Should I do it, or do you want
to give it a try ?

Yes, it is, but at for least this problem we don't have to wait 4 years
until it can be fixed.
