[PD] GEM - problems with pix_video

Hi list,

my gem (0.90 running on win 2k, pd version is 0.37.4)
heavily dislikes my usb camera ... I intend to use the
latter as a video source.
Loading any of the patches in the 04.video dir causes
pd to crash, the same happens if i place a pix_video
object on the canvas. I can happily capture frames
with virtualdub, however - so i assume this is not a
driver issue ...
