i am not sure at all, but i will probably ask thomas tomorrow, when he
is here again.

the values are stored as integers (but i have no idea why). *100 scales
the value to a more used range.

this is old behaviour of the radio-buttons which i have (succesfully, i
think) convinced thomas to get rid of.
the idea was, that each time you hit a radio-button, it would first send
out a message indicating which button has been DEselected and
immediately afterwards a message describing which button has been SELECTED.

switching from 7 to 3 would result in message "7 0, 3 1";

as this can easily be build as a pd abstraction, now the radio's only
output "3" (the newly selected button)

these are either leftovers from previous versions or, what is more
likely, are just artefacts because of some generic helper-functions
(from g_all_guis)
