[PD] Querty Keyboard Control Of PD

Hello Everyone

I am new to the group and new to PD.

I am in an immediate need to develop, through PD, a simple program that 
allows me to hit a key on a querty keyboard and by doing so, play a 
PD-generated sound, with each key producing a different sound.

Can any of you help me figure out how to do this? I would greatly appriciate 
any help anyone could give.
