[PD] compile err on RH 8.0

trying to install 0.37 extended on my new RH 8 system, im new to linux so 
bear with me if this is something simple.

im following the Generic GNU/Linux compile instructions in the install.txt 
file (is this correct?). the first 2 steps are "./configure", which works 
fine and creates a makefile, but when i enter "make" i get this error:

im not really sure what to do if a file it wants just isnt there....
