[PD] pdp_xv can't create

this can have several reasons that were previously discussed on the 
mailing list. i assume that you got a linux system.

doing on of the following things might help (all done in the shell):

- issue "xhost +" to disable x security

- issue "xvinfo" (xvidinfo?) to know if your system offers xvideo


in case xhost does not help you could post the xvinfo output here, so 
we have a look.
