[PD] create quicktime on command line (linux)

hi list

i am wondering which is the easiest way to create/convert
quicktime videos with photojpg compression to use with
pdp.

so far i use cinelerra if i have raw data or ffmpeg in combination
with cinelerra if i have some avi files.

think there has to be a nice simple toolset. think i saw a posting
on this list a while ago, unfortunately i can not find it anymore.

any suggestions..
