[PD] [GEM] pix_write weirdness

I read:
> i see the screenshot is 322 wide 241 high, and the left side of the video

strangely enough the gemwin is set to 320x240 
I can actually rewrap it to look like it should (hehe @redim comes to mind), 
but then again I think pix_write should do it correctly in the first place.
