[PD] alsa_seq patch compile error

I'm trying to patch pd-0.38-0test10 with the alsa_seq support patch from 
CVS. I'm getting the following error:

make: *** No rule to make target `s_midi_alsa.c', needed by 
`s_midi_alsa.o'.  Stop.

I saw that the patch was made for pd-0.38-0test8. Has there been some 
major changes in the ALSA dept since then? Suggestions?
