[PD] gridflow on xp

hello dear pd list,

i would like to use gridflow on xp, but i can't find a way to start it:
i downloaded ruby, gridflow, gridflowxp(/carmen);
i tried to load it with pd -lib gridflow, then ruby part loads(i think) but
then it says it can't load gridflow.so(and i don't have this file).

the questions are:
is there a xp-install faq or tutorial of some sort?
what things are required for xp version(besides ruby, pd)
can anyone help me?

ps. if i manage to run it, i would like to post a step-by-step tutorial on
xp install because i know how this hurts! :)
