Hi, i am new to pd and to the list. Sorry to ask such
a basic question, but I have tried and it seems I am
not able to figure it out on my own.
I have downloaded pd 0.38-2 from Miller Puckette's
site and GemG5 from taproot.dyndns.org. I unstuffed
and got a pd0.38-2 file and a Gem.pd_darwin file. I
placed both files in a directory that I created at
applications, named Pd.
After that I created a .pdrc file in textedit. I put
in there:
-lib /Applications/Pd/Gem
I saved it and put it in the home directory (which is
called julieta).
But pd doesn' t seem to recognize Gem still. I was
wondering what I could be doing wrong... I also tried
to put the same -lib /applications/Pd/Gem path in the
path files on Pd. I don't really know much about
anything, but I was doing the installation this way
after the instructions of a friend.
If someone could help me out, that'd be awesome.
