[PD] Gem and Webcams (Win2k)

Hi,

for the records: I just fiddled around to get my
cheap-o webcam working on my laptop - gem (0.90.1)
always stated that it could not create the null
renderer (I hope I remember the error message
correctly). The very same camera worked fine with Gem
on my desktop pc as well as with other
ds-/vfw-applications (m$'s amcap.exe, virtualdub etc.)
on the laptop.
The cure proved to be installing DirectX 9.0c ...
