[PD] devel_0.38 pb loading externals?

i know, thomas started to use the idle callbacks about a month ago ...
i doubt you'll have to recompile flext for any other change than that
...
if so, you'd see some undefined symbols on the console ...

still, i think, you could also try it with any other non-flext external
that doesn't require any of the devel features and thus won't have to be
recompiled ...
