it should be in src/Geos (as it is a Geo and has nothing to do with pixes)

(probably you haven't noticed, but gem is _not_ developped on
pure-data.sf.net)

the version that should appear soon (i have checked it in right now) has
fixed several bugs and works quite nice

still no help-patch though.
