[PD] HID segfault

At this point, I am guessing that the 2.6 kernel is reporting the syn  
event types which cause the crashes.  I have been working from 2.4  
kernels so far, so that's probably why I haven't seen them before.

I'll try it on a 2.6 kernel soon.
