[PD] compiling the VASP external

Thanks for the reply. I've looked through the building instructions in
the readme file, but for Pd on Windows, there are only instructions for
using Microsoft Visual C++. I'm assuming the Visual C++ makefile isn't
compatible with other compilers. Is there any way I can compile the
external with my Borland C++ compiler (or any other free compiler, for
that matter)?

Hi Matt,
sounds like you are using the cvs version, which is a good idea.
In this case, there's a readme.txt file explaining the building
procedure.
You'll also need the flext package (from cvs)

best greetings,
Thomas

I'm having a bit of a problem compiling the objects for the VASP
external. I'm using Pd on Windows XP, and it seems that VASP only comes
with a makefile for use with Microsoft Visual C++. However, all I have
is the Borland C++ compiler. Is there a simple way for me to install the
external with what I have? My programming skills are a bit lacking, so I
don't know how to work around this. Any help would be appreciated.
