my system:
pd-0.37.4, winxp, 1.7GHz Intel Mobile, HDSP RPM

the lowest reachable settings on my machine are 64samples(minimum) in
the HDSP-Settings and 5ms in pd's audio-settings dialog (asio). actually
i don't know, what latency this is resulting in.but when i speak through
a mic/[adc~] /[dac~]/earphones i hardly feel the latency. when doing
more 'sophisticated' stuff, i usually set the pd-audio-dialog to a
higher delay (20ms) in order to avoid clicks and crackles.
