[PD] using two computers with pd/gem

A few easy steps:

1) Start pd -noaudio on one computer
2) Start pd -nogui on the other computer
3) Use OSC or netsend/netreceive to communicate between the two

Have a look at some of Frank B's RRADical patches [or the help patches
for netsend/netreceive and OSC] to see how this can be done.
Essentially, every GUI object communicates via OSC with its "target", so
seperating the interface from the sound or graphics processing is easy.
