most common way to "morph" is to crossover from the FFT analysis of one
sound to the FFT analysis of another. One way would be to convolve two
sounds side by side, and slowly go from multiplying each FFT bin of
Sound A by 1 through multiplying it by the FFT of Sound B to multiplying
it by zero. And vice versa for Sound B. You could also use the phase
vocoder demo in PD as a starting point as well. But I am not aware of
any externals that do the job.
