[PD] isight, if no go which s-video?

i saw a isight cam laying around here and thought i will
try to bring it up on debian. on the net i do find stuff that
people tried to bring it up, is there any success reported
(so far my research just stucked in deadends)
and furthermore can i use it together with pdp/pidip on
debian, otherwise i stick on s-video which is working via bttv.

does someone know a cheap manufacturer of s-video color
devices. similar to the small monacor surveillance devices?
(no autofocus or adjustment).
