[PD] It compiles but...

Right, it compiles but when loaded in PD it has four
inlets when I only specified three!

I'm still not clear about the relationship between 

  inlet_new(&x->x_obj, &x->x_obj.ob_pd,
gensym("float"), gensym("fin1"));

which I want to be the inlet that triggers the
calculation, as well as storing the value in x_in1 and

  class_addfloat(simile_class, simile_float);

which specifies  the method for a float inlet!
