[PD] compiling pidip CVS

blech,

I'm trying to stay away from compiling all my packages as source, this
got a little ugly in the old days...

Ok yes this fact is in the README, but I would think the configure
script would catch it.

Seems imagemagick does not include a shared lib, anyone know how to make
this happen in apt/dpkg land?

It looks like I can't use ./configure --with-imagemagick=~/imagemagick/

I don't want to install the source of imagemagick due to apt package
conflicts.

Oh well.
