[PD] problems with TOXY and GRIPD

I was getting the same behavior, and it seems to be a problem
with running the gripd.py executable. Sending [open( to [gripd]
sets it up to connect to gripd.py, but gripd.py quits with the
error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "gripd.py", line 22, in ?
      from wxPython.wx import *
      ImportError: No module named wxPython.wx

so then it just waits for the connection. Installing the
wxpython2.4-1 package fixed it for me. Then I had to change some
permissions around, but it worked eventually. run the gripd
executable by itself for more verbose info on why it's not
working.
