[PD] flext builds fine but install problematic

Hi,

I'm using flext 0.5.0, borland, winxp and pd 0.38,

when i 'build pd bcc' everything goes fine with no
errors. the 'pd-bcc' folder seems to be in order.

then i 'build pd bcc install' and straight away i get
an error saying...

'A subdirectory or file C:\pd\flext already exists'
'*** error 1 *** deleting _install_'
'*** error 1 *** deleting install-release-single'

...i've tried deleting the pd\flext folder before i
'build pd bcc install' but i keep getting the same
error.

is there something silly i'm missing?
