[PD] possible tcl/tk errors in OSX build from src

Try 8.4.9, it has less severe changes and works well with 0.38-4 and  
0.39-test2.  Tiger is a different story, there are big changes there.   
I haven't worked with Tiger yet, Jamie has been messing with it.
