yes it might be possible that pix_kaleidoscope is not compiled into the
w32-version.
most probably because it was simply forgotten.

but then i just had a look at the symbols in the Gem.dll (i don't want
to reboot into w32)

could it be as simple as a typo on your side ? you could check by
opening the help-file manually.
