[PD] the case of the missing pool

All and T,

I have no idea why pool keeps refusing to work for me.

I've freshly compiled Pd .39-1test1, flext .5, and pool .2.1

Trying to put a pool on a canvas gives me the regular:

pool 0.2.1 - hierarchical storage object, (C)2002-2005 Thomas Grill


But then the object disappears, nothing happens. pd -verbose doesn't
give any clues, either.

Ideas?
