[PD] beginner questions

i'd like to start learning the PD/GEM environment and have a few  
questions:

1)The best tutorials to begin with?
2)What's the official PD site? There seem to be different mirrors....
3)How do i align PD objects on the window?
4)Is it possible to connect PD/GEM with Supercollider? I
