hi all,

is there an object/abstraction/external to calculate the constant-q
transform ?
the constant q transform is basically a fourier transform, but with
logarithmic
frequency distribution.

i found some weeks ago a paper about it, written by j. c. brown and m.
s. puckette.

http://www.wellesley.edu/Physics/brown/pubs/effalgV92P2698-P2701.djvu

(djvu reader: http://www.djvuzone.org/download/index.html )

and as mr. puckette is the inventor of pd its likely that there is
something around ...

greets,
tebjan
