It could be, that this patch in the Jackit patch tracker could help
with the Quattro as well: http://tinyurl.com/dqzf9
IIRC byteswapping also was one of the reasons that jackd didn't like
the Quattro.

I have no idea if this is in the main jack branch yet as well and I
didn't test the patch with my Quattro, which I'm never going to touch
again unless for packaging it when it's sold.
