[PD] max msp vs pd

I spent more time attempting to build and install jMAX then
actually using it. Christian Klippel ported FFTEASE to it nicely
and there was an awesome granular patch that someone built that
worked on 2.5, but then it plummetted.

I use pd recently for GEM, pdp, PIDIP an gridflow. It is nice.
I recently have tried Jitter and it works very well too. I have
noticed that the same type of patch is a little faster on Jitter
than on GEM, but i think that is because of a mem leak with
pdp_ieee1394.
