[PD] slim down strategies (limit a message stream)

hi list,

i want to reduce the cpu load of some patches and therefore want to  
limit a constant changing number, let's say coming from [env~].
 > with [change] i could get rid of redundant messages
 > with [ignore] only messages which stay a while will be let through
 > [average] just makes the stream smoother, but the amount of  
messages will stay the same, right?
 > what's the right object to subsume a couple of messages or to  
limit the frequency messages will be let through?
