[PD] Problems with RC4 pdp on OSX

Hi,
I have a newbie question..
I downloaded the RC4 Hans installer and can't load pdp .. I cheked  
and the pdp.pd_darwin file is in the extra folder, and in the menu  -  
help/examples/pdp - the examples have objecs that I got the error   
"...couldn't create"  so I don't know what is the problem..

I'm on Powerbook G4 10.4.2

am I missing something?
